We believe that play is vital for children’s development and support “the child’s right to play” (UN Charter).
We aim to improve opportunities to play through high quality consultancy services to those who provide for children’s play and to those whose work affects children’s freedom to play.
We believe we have a responsibility to use knowledge gained through many years of work in children’s play and research to return to the field and the general public a greater understanding of children’s play needs and how these can be met.

* * * LATEST NEWS * * * Jersey Conference Rob Wheway will be speaking at “Play, an intrinsic part of who we are?” on Friday 13th July 2012 in Jersey. His talk is entitled “The child’s right to play, risk, challenge and excitement” and he will be doing a “surgery” for more technical questions at the end of the conference.
